Why live in Ashburton?

Ashburton is a vibrant rural support town that provides services to large catchment known as Mid Canterbury. Significant recent development (both residential and commercial) means Ashburton’s population is growing and so are the number of shops and businesses springing up around the town.

The town is large enough to provide all the necessary sporting and cultural offerings of a city but with the added advantage of being a 10 min drive from one side to the other. It’s great for raising a family or visiting friends. With a little bit less hustle and bustle and more of a focus on lifestyle, people tend to be are a little more relaxed.

Ashburton is well located with Christchurch an hour to the North, Timaru an hour to the South and Methven 30 minutes to the West. For those who like to get outdoors, Mount Hutt is an hour away and Lake Tekapo is less than two hours. There are plenty of walks, tramping, hunting etc can be carried out within a short drive from Ashburton.

The best part of all is that you get to work with great people and the clients are some of the most amazing you will find.
