Once again, Xero has been busy making new updates over the last three months. Our favourite updates include:
Improvements to Bills: Xero have updated the Bills screen to make it easier to manage your accounts payable. You will now see a blue eye symbol to the left of each bill. This allows you to preview a bill without needing to open each bill individually or navigate through multiple tabs or windows.
Xero will also now alert you when a duplicate bill is entered. This reduces the risk of paying the same supplier twice.
Improved Invoicing Functionality: You can now view detailed breakdowns of tax rates on an invoice subtotal and record overpayments directly on invoices.
An Upcoming Switch from Classic to New Invoicing: From 27th February 2025, Classic Invoicing will be retired and replaced with New Invoicing. If you need any help getting familiar with the new layout, please reach out.
Streamlined Report Editing: If you edit reports in Xero, there has been a fantastic new reporting release you’ll want to know about. You can now view a preview of your report layout changes without needing to return to the main report.
Updates to Xero Inventory: You can now filter the inventory item list by tracked and untracked items, and customise columns on the list to show information relevant to your business. You can now also quickly duplicate inventory items.
