Xero
With a modern look and increased processing speed, many of the pages within Xero have improved significantly this quarter. Additionally, Xero has focused on updating the reporting functionality of its platform. You may have noticed that the Reports homepage has changed. Xero has regrouped reports in a more logical way, added more reports you can use, and incorporated a Search functionality so you can quickly find the reports you’re looking for.
Many of the reports themselves have improved too. You’ll find you have increased flexibility within reports, allowing you to set them up to show the exact information you need. Remember, if you do customise the layout of a report, save it as a Custom Report so you can quickly access it again in the future!
Farm Focus
Farm Focus has also been rolling out improvements this quarter. Changes include the ability to run a debtor statement and claim GST on imports. The most significant change, in our opinion, is the release of Focus Advantage.
Focus Advantage allows you to look at the financial impacts of different scenarios that your business might come across. This can help you decide if a plan is financially sound. This will be a particularly useful tool for succession planning, and for purchasing a new farm or major equipment. Focus Advantage is included in your subscription fee so there is no additional cost for these features.
