Alicia grew up on the West Coast and in Christchurch before moving to Wellington to work and study. After gaining a double degree from Massey University and considerable experience with a large firm of accountants, she decided to return home to Christchurch.

Outside of work she enjoys playing touch rugby, watching the Crusaders win and helping her father drag racing. With her husband and Lincoln, her young son, she also enjoys movies and taking her dog, Max, on walks.
