Xero
As usual, Xero has released several updates recently, big and small.
Bills Functionality
Xero has focused on modernising and refreshing their Bills page, keeping the same functionality as before but with a streamlined, more useful layout. This is a part of Xero’s plan to gradually update each page in Xero, providing both a better user experience and also modernising their backbone code that supports the page’s functions.
The Business Snapshot
Have you checked out The Business Snapshot? It is a dashboard that displays key financial information, such as profitability, income and expenses in a visually appealing way. Xero has recently added more graphs and information options, making this a useful tool for business planning meetings and a general understanding of the state of your business.
Layout Importer
Still using the old versions of reports in Xero? The new Layout Importer will bring all of your customised layouts into the new report style so there is no hassle in setting your reports up how you like them. An easy transition!
Farm Focus
Farm Focus has also made some great updates this quarter. A few of the biggest updates are:
- The introduction of an Asset Register. This allows you to easily record the sales and purchases of your farm assets.
- The ability to run Debtor Statements. This helps you keep track of which customers owe you money.
- Accrual reporting has been rolled out throughout various features in Farm Focus, including the Trends report and the Working Plan.
- GST on imported goods can now easily be recorded. This makes it simple to correctly claim any GST on items you have imported from overseas.
